RealRectangles.com history
RealRectangles.com used to be a web application
providing interactive guide to the computer display standards.
It was built with original chart software.
RealRectangles.com used to run a Java 2 EE Web application.
Used technologies:
- Java 2D API;
- Java Servlet Technology;
- HSQLDB database engine;
- JavaServer Pages Technology with
JavaServer Pages Standard Tag Library (JSTL).
However, the site was not very popular, so the J2EE application
has been shut down in September 2009 after website hosting
related problems.
